Mindfulness is a powerful tool for managing stress, bringing clarity of thought, and building awareness of self-limiting thoughts and behaviours. It can be used at any time and bring lasting results. When you practice Mindfulness you free your mind of clutter, anxiety and unwanted noise. This enables you to be Mindful, rather than Mind Full.
What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a practice that can help us control our focus of attention. It enables us to see clearly whatever is happening in the moment, seeing it for what it is rather than what we would like, presume or fear it to be.
In our working lives we may not consciously be aware of the options available to us. To discover these options we first need to build awareness of our behaviour and interactions. We can then step back and make conscious choices about how we wish to respond to a situation. Mindfulness can help to do this, and to see ourselves and interactions with others with clarity and without judgement. All this can have a positive impact on our decision-making process. Mindfulness helps with problems such as:
- Stress
- Nerves
- Anxiety
- Flawed decision making
- Lack of focus
- Sleep problems
- Poor concentration
- Mental clutter
- Lack of confidence
- Negative patterns of thought and behaviour
- Blocked creativity
Craft of Communication has created a Mindfulness Programme for our clients in the corporate, public, educational and charitable sectors. It is proving to be a popular, powerful and practical tool for people at all levels of management.
Our Mindfulness Programme can be delivered 1 to 1, in groups and, as with all our programmes, virtually. It can be a standalone programme or integrated as a module into other communication courses.
