Programme Overview
The Science of Communication teaches us that Audiences Feel before they Think. Thus, audiences are never neutral: they always arrive with their own feelings, ideas and agendas.
Once Leaders understand the full implications of this psychological and physiological phenomenon, and experience is ever present in all human interactions, it opens the door to engaging their audience on an emotional level. Leaders then learn skills that enable them to go way beyond simply informing their audience: it empowers them influence what their audience thinks by influencing how they feel.
In The Craft of Influencing for Leaders you learn how to
- Inspire audiences – large or small, live or virtual.
- Combat negativity and overcome low engagement.
- Raise morale.
- Motivate teams.
- Generate the drive for higher performance.
- Get buy-in for a strategy or vision.
- Reduce conflict.
- Manage and guide the process of Change across an organisation.
Feedback from our Programmes
“By all accounts, yesterday’s session was outstanding. I was blown away by the transformation of our CEO’s client-handling. He downloaded to me that the whole training process with you had been ‘life-changing’ and that he wishes he’d had it 10 years ago. I’ve never heard him so enthusiastic about anything.”
HR Director SHM.
“I realize that this is a major investment in my development as a leader. Thanks you for making it possible.”
Participant in Leadership Programme, Environment Agency.
“One of the most important sessions yet. Influencing is one of the hardest nuts to crack, and everyone has their weaknesses. The day managed to focus on these and help people perfect their skills. The interactivity helped to bring in practical situations. I found this session invaluable.”
Executive, Channel Four.
“The training has proved invaluable and not a day goes by where I do not apply it in some form or the other. I would go so far as to say that it might be some of the most useful training I have received in my professional career.”
Senior Manager, Old Mutual Wealth.
