- Tara Shaw
Tara trained as an actor at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts). She has had a long established acting career ranging from theatre work at the Royal National Theatre to numerous appearances on film and TV.
She gained an MA in Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. After she graduated with Distinction, Central School invited Tara to join the academic teaching staff. She created the presentation and communication skills module of the M.A as well as teaching modules in academic research, voice, text and pedagogy.
Tara has taught voice, communication and acting skills at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts). She is also a Senior Lecturer in Performing Arts at the London Metropolitan University on the B.A. Honours course.
As Managing Director of Craft of Communication, Tara’s experience of performance and academic rigour has helped her to create the Craft of Communication protocols, Module Menu and methods of delivery. Tara has trained and continually develops our expanding team of consultants. This ensures our clients receive a consistently high quality of coaching and training.
Tara has wide experience as a business coach.
