John Abulafia

John is an international executive coach. His unique range of skills and knowledge have helped many clients to enhance their presence, impact and influence and to deliver their message with clarity, conviction and eloquence.

John’s skills are rooted in his twenty years’ experience as a stage director at the National Theatre, English National Opera, Glyndebourne and many theatres and opera houses in the UK and Europe. He also draws on his experience as a trainer of actors and singers at RADA, Guildhall, Central School of Speech & Drama, Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College Opera School. This background in drama training and theatre enables him to provide C-Suite clients with a profound understanding of Audience Psychology and the entire range of communication skills they require for the wide range of audiences and situations they face.

As a novelist and screenwriter John has a direct, creative experience of Story-Making. He has used these skills to help organisations, teams and individuals to create a strong, resonant Company Story.

John founded Craft of Communication in 2002. The company now has 154 clients in 56 sectors.
