Sarah an actor, voice teacher and communications coach.
Sarah trained in classical theatre at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art over nine years ago, and has been working as an actress ever since. She has worked across the industry in theatre, film and television and extensively as a voice over artist. Her extended interest in voice led her to undertake the MA Voice Studies at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, for which she was awarded the Jeremy Brett scholarship. She completed her MA with distinction.
Sarah works with a wide range of individuals and groups from the corporate sector, performance industry and education sector, from companies to drama schools to universities. She particularly specialises in voice and communication skills with young people. As such, she heads a voice department in an inner-city state school in Central London. Here she works with staff and students, developing skills, as well as awareness of the importance of voice and communication to personal, social, educational and career growth.
Sarah is a member of the engagement committee for the international Voice and Speech Trainers Association as well as an active member of the Voice Care Network, British Voice Association, and the International Centre for Voice.
