The word ‘Audience’ is derived from the Latin word ‘Audentia’ which means “Those who given attention”.
So an audience can be a thousand people in theatre, opera house or conference hall, a group of a hundreds, a team of thirty, or just one person.
In each, the same dynamic is at work.
That is why we start by teaching clients about the Audience-Speaker relationship. Once they understand the dynamics of that key relationship, they are ready to learn how to get and keep the attention of the audiences with whom they communicate on a daily basis.
